APPEARANCE

Even at a distance, the oddness of the woman is plain. She stands often perched on one foot or shifting weight from side to side, as though she is ready to take off in flight or skitter beneath the floorboards. Dark hair and darker eyes, reflecting the golds, greens, and purples of beetle carapace, leap out from pale lilac skin that deepens towards the fingertips as though she'd dipped them in wine. From this dark head of hair sprouts two antenna- or, one jewelesque appendage, with merely the evidence of a second left behind. The antenna, wide black eyes, and small patches of carapace on her skin give the look of an otherworldly little thing- and the impish grin she nearly always sports only adds to the otherness. Then again... perhaps it's just the fangs.She dresses in deep purple tones and glittering jewels of all shades, each bracketed in finely made silver. On her feet are half wraps of shining black fabric rather than shoes, and she is never found without the thick fingerless gloves that carefully cover the entirety of her arms. Her hair sports accessories as finely made as the rest of her jewelry, including slim silver circlets or hair sticks with delicate dangling gems.
